Tickets are $75 for Members ($100 after midnight October 16th) and $125 for non-members.  If tickets are available at the door, they will be $135 each. Sales tax is added to ticket sales.

Q: What should I wear as a costume?

A: Guests wear everything, from creative to traditional, sexy to conservative.  The important thing is to pick an outfit you feel is fun and enjoyable. Most people rent or buy a costume.  Some people are pretty creative and make their own.  A good costume gives you the chance to be someone different or get some laughs.  Often people get into the spirit of the evening so much they remain in “character” all night.  We’ll post some links for costume ideas soon. 

Q: Where do I park?

A: You can VIP park in Vizcaya’s inside lot for $20.  That inside lot usually fills up by 9PM.  Our main parking is $10 and is the lot for the Miami Museum of Science & Planetarium (located at 3280 South Miami Avenue, Miami FL 33129), right across the street from Vizcaya’s entrance.  Participating Ford Lincoln dealers have a flyer valid for free parking in either lot.  You can also take a taxi to Vizcaya.  We do not suggest you park on the street in the surrounding neighborhood as you may get a ticket (or be towed) by the City of Miami. 

Q: What about taxis?

A: We encourage people to be responsible and take a taxi if they do not have a designated driver.  There should be taxis available at the end of the night or you may call your own. 

Q:  Do you really shut down at Midnight?

A: No, the party continues until 1AM.  Since noise regulations require us to lower music volume after Midnight, we advertise it “ends” then, but as prior attendees know we run longer.

Q: Can I get in before 8PM?

A: Yes!  For the first time this year, we are letting people in as early as 7PM to pre-party in the circular driveway.  A bar will serve pre-made drinks until the house opens at 8PM. 

Q: Will food be available?

A: Grilled food, crepes and other food is available for a small charge.  For those who work up an appetite dancing all night, snacks will be available as you leave.

Q: What drinks do you have?

A: We have an open bar (e.g.- vodka, rum, scotch, gin, whisky), Beer, Red and White Wines, Red Bull, Water, various soft drinks and fruit juices.

Q: Are there VIP tickets available?

A:  No.  When you buy a ticket you get complete access to the party and everything (except some food) is included.

Q: I’m confused - should I buy a Membership or not?

A:  Even if you just want to save money, buying a Membership for $50 makes sense.  If you buy on or before midnight October 16th, you pay $75 vs. $125 for each ticket, a discount of $50 that equals your Membership fee.  If you purchase two tickets, you save $50 overall.  If you buy October 17th or later, you pay $100 vs. $125, a savings of $25 which pays for the Membership fee if you get two tickets.  You also save a few dollars because sales tax is paid on ticket amounts, but not the $50 membership cost.  Membership has its perks: discounts to future Vizcayans events, free admission to Vizcaya during the day and invites to Member-exclusive social events.  And since we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, your membership fee may be tax deductible. 

Q: Are certain costumes or props prohibited?

A: No weapons are allowed.  For example, you cannot bring a real sword for your pirate costume, a spear gun for your diver outfit, etc.  In some cases this can include toy props that look like weapons or could hurt someone.  We reserve the right to deny admission to anyone with an unsafe or inappropriate prop or costume, as determined in our sole discretion.  If you have particular questions about your costume, call us at 305-856-4866 ext. 3.
